Theoretical Pz.-Div. manpower strength late 1940

Hello,

Does anyone know roughly how many troopers were enlisted in a late 1940 armored division?
The division I'm looking for figures was a former motorized infantry division converted into a Panzer-Division in October 1940 (13. Panzer-Division). It had a two-battalions Panzer-Regiment, a Schützen-Brigade with two rifle regiments, each including two four-company rifle battalions and three support companies, and a five-company motorcycle rifle battalion, a three-battalion artillery regiment and standard divisional combat support units.

Roughly how many soldiers were under its command?
Thank you for your help.
Regards,

Hello!

Somewhere in the files of Pz.A.O.K. 1/Pz.Gr. 1 the Iststärke of 13. P.D. was given as 16.811 on 15th June 1941. Given the date that number should have been around 100% of the Sollstärke or at least close to it.
Some other numbers immediately before Barbarossa:
9. P.D.: 16.295
11. P.D.: 16.136
12. P.D.: 18.696
14. P.D.: 16.811
16. P.D.: 17.133

Maybe it helps

NagaSadow, thank you very much.
Do you think that this figure evolved a lot since October 1940? It would be great to have the same source (Iststärke) somewhen between October 1940 and April 1941, even if I doubt that this figure evolved a lot during this timeframe.

Correction, I do have such figures for Lehrstab R (covername for 13. Panzer-Division between October 1940 and May 1941):
- 15.12.40: 429 officers, 113 Beamten, 2423 NCOs, 11978 enlisted, total 14943;
- 15.1.41: 433 officers, 117 Beamten, 2541 NCOs, 11952 enlisted, total 15043;
- 15.2.41: 444 officers, 119 Beamten, 2595 NCOs, 12212 enlisted, total 15270;
- 15.3.41: 489 officers, 122 Beamten, 2685 NCOs, 13185 enlisted, total 16481;
- 15.4.41: 455 officers, 123 Beamten, 2660 NCOs, 12996 enlisted, total 16234.

Sorry not to have known that I had this...

Anyway, if anyone has the same figure for 13. Panzer-Division around October 20th, 1940, I would be very happy to know what it was precisely.
