Hi everyone
I was trying to do some research on some snipers by the names of Bühler (547. Volks-Gren Divison) and Roschorrek (561. Volks-Gren division) both who I believe had over 100 kills.
I wondered if anyone could help if there is any documentation at all on them and the statistics they got, I believe they are mentioned in the book 'The German Sniper Badge,1944-1945' but I unfortunately don't own a copy. On the off chance someone does it would be great if they could attach an image or maybe let me know what is written about them.
Any help on commendations, awards they received or things like that would be great.
Many thanks in advance for any help

The two soldiers in question are listed on page 13 of the above listed thread, but it sounds like it's from the same book. Have you tried Peter Senich's 'The German Sniper'?

He who lives by the sword, should train with it frequently.
Re: German Snipers
Hello!
I don't have the book but i can give you some information. Uffz. Bühler belonged to Grenadier-Regiment 1092 an was credited with his 101. kill on 27th December 1944 according to the Daily report of A.O.K. 4 of the same day.
Roschorrek is almost certainly a misspelling of Uffz. Fritz Koschorrek of Alarmbtl. Gumbinnen/561. V.G.D/56. I.D.(?). He was credited with his 100. kill on the 26th December 1944 but seems to have had a sniper career going back to at least October 1943 based on a Propaganda report by Pz.A.O.K. 3 and daily reports of H.Gr. Mitte.
