Fallschirmjäger combat training question

I have a few books on German Airborne units and tried to find this answer before, but without luck...

Did the Luftwaffe conduct their own small unit tactics training, or did they utilize Heer instructors? At first glance it would seem that the Luftwaffe would have been focused primarily on air operations, not on the ground performance of personnel delivered by air. Once on the ground, they'd be elite light infantry, and could expect to provide for themselves without resupply or sustainment over the course of days, if not weeks. It's difficult to imagine that they would have been able to draw on any institutional knowledge or memory to provide instructor cadre that would be able to teach tactics, crew-served weapons operation, and the use of very ground-bound weapons like mortars and light howitzers.

Any information would help. Thank you!
