Hi TachoDeBasura,

According to an interview with German historian Dr. Roman Töppel on Youtube (Historynotvisualized) the Germans never had tank aces during the war. This is a retrospective, post-war designation. He interviewed several of the more prominent "aces" and he said that they didn't even keep precise records themselves. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfmilK8D0_Y)

Cheers,

Sid.
