Hello!
Raul, thank you for your help. You gave me a hint and I found the answer to most of my questions!
One more question, were all these battalions and batteries brought to destination cities or only to the border of the zone?
Thank you for your help!

Hello ewir54.69 :D, AFAIK only three battalions reached the border: II./ IR 39 to Aachen on the Belgian border, I./ IR 38 to Trier on the border with Luxemburg, and either the II./ IR 38 or II./ IR 17 to Saarbrucken along the border with France. Cheers. Raúl M 8-).

Hello!
I mean the demilitarized zone. Did the battalions reach the cities by train or on foot?
greetings, Marek!

Hello ewir54.69 :D, only did find this
The displacement required the support of 90 trains.
. IMO they reached the town's station and then maching on foot throught the locality. Cheers. Raúl M 8-).
