Isn't it a XI Fliegerkorps corps unit, the light flak battalion?

There was definately 2cm Flak, also 75 and 105mm recoilless artillery, and 36mm and 50mm PAKs

I think I read it in Ansel's book. It arrived after the tanks were dealt with.

Another interesting piece was the Pz II that was photographed there. But it did not arrive via Ju 52s of course :))

I’m just wondering who the pack 38 belonged to I don’t think any FJ units were issued with them at the time , and idk if any Gibergsjager units were, Like I said I’ve never seen a thing about that being There but that doesn’t necessarily mean anything.

I’ve seen pictures of the Panzer II’s being offloaded from ships, same for the L3/33’s

Let me dig out the exact reference and come back to you.

IIRC those guns did not participate in real action, but were airlifted in.

Gentlemen,

Here's an answer from an older thread discussing the Fallschirmjäger's use of 2 cm Flak on Crete. viewtopic.php?f=50&t=204392&p=1842677
The 3./Fsch.Fla.MG.Btl. 7 (Olt. Theuerling) jumped together with IV./LL-Sturm-Rgt. (Hptm Gericke), or to be more exakt with the 13./LL-Sturm-Rgt in the first assault wave on Maleme Airport. The greater part of these units landed between the two smaller towns/villages Tavronitis and Kamisiana, just west and southwest of Maleme airport.

This passage is found on p.444 of the 2013 translation of Golla's book.
