Hi!
From April 1942, the Wehrmacht used schweren Ladungsleger "Borgward B IV" developed by the Borgward company. Its purpose was to blow up bunkers, enemy positions or even tanks from a safe distance. For this purpose, the loaders were driven to the target by radio. An explosive charge weighing 500 kg was then dropped at the target, after which the charge layer could be reused. Panzer-Abteilungen (Fkl.) was divided into staff, staff company, four Fkl companies and a workshop platoon. Each Fkl company was equipped with ten Stug III Ausf. G and 36 Borgward B IV (re: s. KStN. 1171 f).
Does anyone know and can confirm the use of "Goliaths" by these units, especially Panzer-Abteilung (Fkl.) 302 during Warsaw Uprising - I don't remember where I read about it FUNKLENK PANZERTRUPPEN by Thomas L. Jentz or GERMAN REMOTE-CONTROL TANK UNITS 1940-1943 by Markus Jaugitz - but was it confirmed in documents about improvised KStN?
PS: I attach the model KStn, which does not mention anything about it - please help me clarify this issue
"Goliath's" in Panzer-Abteilungen (Fkl.)
Re: "Goliath's" in Panzer-Abteilungen (Fkl.)
Orlov,
I do not find Goliath in any KStN for Pz Fkl units, they were present in engineer units with KStN 727, I attach a KStN for 1944 .
I cannot exclude that some Pz units used some Goliath they in some way had at hand, but it would be an exeption.
I hope this was useful for you

Dear Max104740,
Thanks for response.
I am most interested in Panzer-Abteilung (Fkl.) 302 - because I also suspect that the Polish authors made a mistake in identifying Goliath in this unit during Warsaw Uprising.
