Luftwaffe transfers to Waffen-SS pensions?

Hi

After the war ex Waffen-SS members were I believe only allowed pensions from 1959 in West Germany. Even then I think they had to not have been a member of the General-SS and have less than 10 years service.

A large number of Luftwaffe members were transferred to the Waffen-SS later in the war
So before the 1959 change were these ex Luftwaffe members entitled to a pension as not volunteers and not much choice in the matter?
