Concerning SS-Ostuf. Ernst Otto (https://www.tracesofwar.com/persons/137 ... ment-1.htm), 4.schw./SS-Pz.Rgt.1 LSSAH, is it known the tank id.number (I suppose Panther) he was commander during Normandy campaign?

If he was KP Kdr of the 4.th Kompanie his tank must have had the number 411

To my knowledge was the 4 (heavy) as you also write. So most probably Tiger I ,
Take a look at the www.axishistory.com and you will see photos of Waldemar Schütz Tiger from the 4.Kp.

According to what I read in Aegte book, it looks they were equipped with Panther tanks.
is it possible to know what was the actual arrangement of tanks in the different companies of the regiment?

Always reading P.Agte book about Peiper, SS-Hstuf.Ernst Otto was commander of the remaining Panthers from 1. and 2.Kp about end March 1945.
Does anybody knows anything about this ?

Late war the standard organisation was Panthers in 1-4 kp and Pz IV in 5-8 kp.
