Georg, thanks for sharing the interesting photo's. There are a couple of photo's of Sporck, but they are private and unpublished. If my research into Nordland is ever completed I hope to receive permission to publish the Sporck photo's.

Siegfreid Lorenz reported on Saalbach in a letter to a Swedish researcher many years ago:

I think that it can also be found in Poller.

It allready exist a book about SS-Pz.A.A.11 "Nordland", its written by the Kameradschaft AA 11, and Herbert Poller (+). Unfortunately the book is not public and very hard to find.

Hi Georg, I've find a copy of this publication and I have a question to you.
Also your is edited like photocopies. And, I the copy I've reached pages 80-81-82-83 are missing. If you have those pages too, is there a way to let me have?
Many thanks, best regards SENTIRE-PENSARE-VOLERE

Needless to say but the 3. had a platoon called "Schwedenzug" during the war. "Schwedenkompanie" is a name constructed after the war.

Could someone maybe help me out: What did Saalbach do after his officer training in 1937? Did he return to SS-sonderkommando Sachsen and then in 1940 got transfered to the Totenkopf division?
