Does anyone know of a unit that was in Poland and when they moved on, left behind part of the unit to guard against partisans?

do you have a web address for the site 8)
web site?
Greetings, Kim
There are several threads in the Third Reich Forum you might want to check on. One is in the "Enemies of the Third Reich", the thread is "cavalry" started by Ken. Another is "Romanian cavarly" in the German's Allies & Collaborators, started by Marcus Wendel.
Or you can search on "cavalry"... lots of great material.
(The animated gif file is from animationfactory.com if that's what you were really asking )
