Greetings! Currently I'm preparing an article about Legion Condor for my internet site and unfortunately I haven't found much info about this topic. So if anyone could give me some information about von Thoma's soldiers and their deeds, I would be very, very grateful!

You can find some info on this in "Uniforms, Organization and History of the Legion Condor" by Roger Bender.

Apparantly when the first tanks arrived in country many members of the royal family wanted to trained as tank men. I guess the modren knight type thing.
But after the first few dead and wounded returned with the stories of the way men died or were wounded the royalty decided to look to other units.
