In the list Dieter posted on 20th July 2004 regarding the high-scoring men in the Panzer Forces I've found some inaccuracies as far as the official info:
1. Without the shred of a doubt Knispel was the most accurate panzer crew of WW II , but he wasn't part of the SS. He was part of the whermach instead. Therefore, his graduation doesn't match the one on the list.
2. Two times on the list appears the PZ ABTEILUNG 503 as belonging to the SS but this is not so, the belonged to the army. Such is Knispel's case and another case is the one of the 2nd. high-scoring of this unit.
Kind regards
Kamerad
ps. .
Dieter, this is not meant as criticism of your work as I believe you've done an excellent job on the list, take it just as a contribution
On the contrary:
I' m glad about the intensive discussion. Nobody is perfect or infallible.

Jan, do you have any other info on Fw. Knittel, like for example his name, company and source? Thanks.

I don't see Hyazinth Graf Strachwitz von Gross Zauche und Camminetz on any of these lists , granted he was general , however by leading small tank formations he destroyed 100's, if not 1000<, of tanks. I figure, due to him personally leading small units many times, he was often in battle and he might have racked up a few kills himself.

I can't find a word about his kills, maybe he killed so many they just stopped counting 8O.

SS-Stubaf. Erwin Meierdress is also a StuG/Panzer ace who destroyed many panzer and must also be attached to that list.

Does anyone know how much kills he had ?

I couldn't found any data about Wachtmeister Moj except for his kills and unit. What is his first name, actually?
