Freikorps and the British in Latvia

Hallo,

Freikorps (FK) units, under the overall command of General der Infanterie Graf Rudiger von der Goltz, fought in a campaign against Soviet forces in Latvia in 1919. The FK pushed back the weak Soviet forces and captured Riga. During it's occupation of Riga, the FK murdered approximately 3,000 citizens and looted the city. In response to this and other FK actions, the British, who had up to that point grudgingly accepted the FK's anti-Soviet operations in Latvia, increased it's involvement with the Latvian government and the Latvian army in order to break the FK's influence in the Baltic area. Can anyone provide information regarding Britain's efforts against the FK in Latvia? Are there any books about Britain's involvement in Latvia during this period?

Thank You

J.D.
