This NCO acting as a chauffeur in Munich,May 1919,had served with General Lettow-Vorbeck in Ostafrika and was serving him again as a member of Freikorps Lettow-Vorbeck.

Great picture, isn't it? I've asked before but does anyone have any other photos of Freikorps Lettow Vorbeck? Or of Lettow in his Freikorps days?

Hi Peter,
Thanks for pointing out that interesting picture. I've posted it here.
I know the seller said it says Lettow Vorbeck on the back but it doesn't look like him to me. The officer in this photo has no Pour Le Merite (which Lettow usually wore) and has unit badges on his collar which I didn't think the Freikorps Lettow-Vorbeck wore. What do other think?
