Hold it, hold it, people...
I asked to see that Danish SS colorized pic because
i thought it would be interesting to see how they did it in those days, but this went too far.
Please stop posting colorized pics !
Almost all of last photos are colorized, including the last one (Berthold Peichl).

I don't know if Steiner's photo is colorized,
but nevermind - it's great! I've never seen it before.
Thanks for posting.
It's probbably not, because we can see many photos of officers
in this thread taken in front of the same red background...

Maybe I am just being a stickler. Why not apply some pretty standard editing to these pictures folks.

Here is that nice SS MG gunner adjusted. Check out the difference not only in quality but correct color.

Waste of time

Sbf.Kock Asking Why is posting pictures here a waist of time...?
Time is wasted when all pic you present here not are taken for what they are, but always collect coments dealing if or how this you present are a copy, replica, re-coloured and something you proably made with photoshop in your home garage.
I`m only shoving pics for the interest of others, it takes time, original pics to load and scan and if the time is used to always make nagtive comments, well this is the waste...
Those who aske what`s waste, please read the coments all distrustfully to the pics .The background on the Walther Frenz pics are nearly the same on many pics. I have severel both LW, WH, WM, SS and party-members, some connected to visitors in the Wolfschanze, Quisling from Norway, Japanese Officers, Bulgarian Prins Boris, Hungarian Horthy, Gauleiters, and other prominent, he was a photografer in the field HQ, "shooting" those who where guests, but also pics of klergymen, Helferinnen, and all his Women secretary and some 150 WH Generals and Ritterkreuzträger.
I dont think they are fake, he had a studio with this blanket as a background, many of these pics have been providet before as B/W. Hope this can explain the origin.
Hi from Hallandsen.
