Hi Gareth
I've just read Jerry's reply to your posting on Jason's site regarding the last commander of XLIV. Armeekorps. He said that Ludwig Müller was in command from 24/2/44. On this site you show Müller in charge of XXXIV. Armeekorps from the same date. Is this a mistake or did he command both simultaneously.
Thanks
Doug

Doug,
I think Jerry made a mistake. Müller couldn't have possibly commanded both korps at the same time, they were on different sectors of the Eastern Front (Centre, and South). I am looking into it. Müller DEFINATELY commanded XXXIII. Armeekorps at this time.

Gareth

Doug,
In fact they were on different fronts. XXXIV was in the central sector of Russia and XLIV was in the Balkans.

Gareth.
