They are for all of you that don't have the privilege to watch these exellent reportages.
All photos will show only members of Waffen-SS.

Hi Ivanwss,

I've just discovered your thread and must say: only wunderbar!

As a small contribution I would like to give this link to the index off all D. Wochenschau films 1939-1944.

http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?t=128459.

Your thread has really amazing sequenced shots and in my view it's is one of the best visual documents as goes for soldiers action and personnel id. :)

Keep up the good work!

I THINK (first time for everything) that I reacted to this posting already before; possibly in another thread.
But just in case: these pictures are of a "beeidigung" of the Landsturm Niederlande (Landstorm Nederland) at the don Bosco Estate in Amersfoort, Holland. Somewhere in these pictures, yours truly must be hiding :-)

Isn't this the SS Wachtbataillon III? Because you're naming Helle and Nauman, who were the commander and adjutant of that battalion and it was also located in Amersfoort.

At Don Bosco the 2nd ersatz und ausbildug kompanie was quartered.
The first company was a perimeter guard as well as music company.
The others were stationed at other places.
The picture in front of the building show Helle on the left and Nauman on the right
In the background you can recognize Rauter.

Mohnke and Prinz are seen in one of the footage reels between mid july and end of august 1944. Which clip in detail, I can't say (yet)...
But keep in mind that the shown sceneries had to be viewed by the offices responsible for propaganda issues.

Yes,the man on the Bren-carrier.It's possible to identify him?Another question,he's wearing a black leather jacket,is he a tankist, or maybe he belong to an artillery/flak company or to a 13th company?

Personally I don't know the man.
But yes, he is certainly from the Panzer-Regiment of the HJ Division, since he wears a leather jacket (and most certainly leather trousers, too). They wore leather to keep the fire away from the body when the tank started to burn after having been hit by an enemy grenade.
