I understand that Kalmuck Kavallerie Korps has a Supreme Lama who acted as the spiritual leader of the unit (just like Sturmbahnführer Monsignor Jean Mayol de Lupe for the LVF and its successor the 33. Waffen-Grenadier-Division der SS Charlemagne).

Does anyone had any more information on this?

Baksha Umaldinov left Yugoslavia to Germany
with his associates, gelongs Menkov and Ignatov. It is assumed that Kalmyks
probably took the equipment of Belgrade pagoda with them. Baksha Umaldinov
died in 1946. in Bavaria.
