I understand that towards the end most Vlassov men
were in CZ, especially around Prague
(where they helped the Czechs in the uprising against the Germans).
We met a few of them on our trek.
I read that some had been used on the invasion front
in France.
To the Germans they were known as the
Wlassow Armee
or
die Wlassow Kosacken.
Why?
How many were there in all?
Did any survive the return to the Soviet Union?
thanks,
...peter

Try this link: http://bka-roa.chat.ru/index.htm
It has some pictures and little bit of data about Russian forces in German service. Also, try the POA (or Russian Liberation Army) in internet search engines (Google, etc) to find articles about Vlassov and his men.
Best Regards,
Mait.
