Deutschbrasilianer & German Africans...

#1

Post by Daniel1984 » 12 Dec 2006, 07:27

Hello,

Lately i've been doing a fair amount of research into the old German overseas colonies and as well German settlers in South America.

Can anyone provide me with information regarding whether or not Germans from the African colonies or from the settlers in South America answered Hitler's call and fought in Europe against the "Allies."

It would be most appreciated.

- Dan

I'm assuming, given those numbers...any chances at names and specifics are completely out of the question?

Hi Ultima (or anyone else who may know),
As Dan said, I'd be keen to hear any more about these troops especially the ones from German East Africa and South West Africa. Names, dates of joining, what units they served in, what happened to them, anything like that would be appreciated.
Cheers
Chris

Hi Ricardo,
It's often difficult to prove a negative. What proof do you have that no Brazillians sevred in the W-SS? Also I'd be keen to hear of proof that Brazillians did serve?
Cheers
