Anyone have any info on Georg Vatchnadze, a Georgian prince exiled to France or England following the Russian revolution, and possibly member of the Waffen-SS with officer rank from 1941 or 42 onwards ?

Hey Michi,

I've a Rostislav Murawjew in my files but he was only Waffen-Untersturmführer and not Waffen-Sturmbannführer as you stated.....
Also in this unit some time served Waf.Ustuf. Rostislav Murawjew.

If this thread is supposed to be a listing of foreign SS senior officers (from Lt. Generals to Majors), then why are we listing the equivalents of first & second lieutenants here? :roll:

I'd also like to ask: what exactly is the purpose of this list we are compiling? What insights do we expect to find with this data?
