Poland:
Brigadeführer Bronislav Vladislavovich Kaminsky – 16/06/1899-28/08/1944
This is not true. There were no Poles in SS at all. Bronislav Kaminski was from Belarous. His second name sound like polish, hoever he was not this nationality. His people commited a lot of crimes during Warsaw Uprising in 1944: murders, rapes, thefts. This was to much even for SS (thefts I mean), and Kaminsky was taken to war court. Date of his execution is unknown. 28.08.1944 is because of note in von dem Bach's diary about his trial. According to official SS's documents he died 04.10.1944.

Juanjo, some small details; it's "Johan Bastiaan van Heutsz jr."
So not Johann, also the "jr." has to be added and in Dutch names the "van" is not with a capital V.
Even his gravestone has his name spelled false :?

cheerios,

Correct name is "Belarus".

Ivan Murawjew was Russian, not Belarusian.
Bronislav Vladislavovich Kaminsky
He is Russian of Polish origin. From Bryansk.

Actually there were few Belarusians with SS-ranks: those who served in 13-th Belarusian police battalion of SD and those who became part of two 30 Waffen SS Grenadier divisions.

From fall to winter 1944 it was "2nd Russian". And after that the number "30" was given to the "1th Belarusian" division.

Perhaps there were others with ranks who served in SD and later in Scorzeni's commando "Jagdverband Ost" at the end of the war.

As far as I understand these men are from 30th Waffen-Grenadier division (1th Russian).
Most of them are Russians and Ukranians.

Hi!

I have some additions/amendments to the Latvian officers' list:

Augstkalns: died 24 September 2000
Caune: the Führerliste has a typo - his rank was only Sturmscharführer
Grants: I have no confirmation that he was promoted from Hstuf.
Insbergs: Not promoted to Ostubaf. Died 8 July 1980
Kvalbergs: died 1 December 1968
Lapainis: died 2 December 1990
Lazduzieds: died 6 April 1990
Linins: died 15 June 1990
Ruks: died 6 May 1986

Best regards,

VJK
