Hallo, I have an pic of Croatian legionars (369'th inf. reg). They all have german helmets in that pic. It is possible that You have seen some soldiers of Italian transport legion on Eastern front that also consisted of Croatian legionars.
By the way, Croatian army in WW2 used French "Adrian" helmets, German M15-18 and M35-42 and also Italian helmets.Maybe even some other types.
Regards, Domagoj

Hallo Pavka,
on all pics that I have of Croatian legionars, they have shield on right arm. About helmets, I saw shields on both sides.I'm posting pics of some Legionars of 369'th regiment and of my Croatian shield. One of the soldiers on the pics was a relative of my friend.

Hallo Pavka, You are really very talented modeller. That Diorama looks great.I like that camo trousers in oak leaf pattern (and also everything else). I am also in modeling, I made an huge diorama (pics in the modeling section to), but lately I don't have time for that and i can't buy new models here in Croatia because we don't have good enough shops.

Hallo Gaius,
I don't know allot abouth that soldier. He was an relative of my neighbour. He sais that he was killed on Eastern front, probably in Stalingrad. I don't think is it truth because acording to pictures, he seemed to be in Stockerau untill December 1942, and also there is an picture dated 1943. I'll try to find out what really is the story of this man. Here are some pics, I don't have scanner so I had to take pics with my digital camera...
Here he is as a member of Hrvatsko domobranstvo" in 1941
