Hi guys!

I looking for more information regarding Poles traininig in SS-Jagdverband Ost. This unit Oddział consist of three groups: SS-Jagdeinsatze „Ostland”, „Rußland” i „Polen” (Volksdeutsche speaking by Polish) = three companies jaegers and one heavy company.
Is this true, that Germans recruited several parachutist - volunteers for SS-Jagdeinsatze „Polen” from "Sainty-Cross Brigade" National Armed Forces (Brygada Świętokrzyska z Narodowych Sił Zbrojnych - NSZ) commanded by colonel Antoni Szacki-Dąbrowski alias „Bohun”. Volunteers for sabotage were training after some German-Polish negotiations (26/27+28 Jan. in Kaubitz, 5 Feb. in Peterswald, 12 Feb. in Kottwitz and 5/6+12 Apr. in Rozstáni). Polish commander of Saint-Cross Brigade sent group soldier under comm. - Captain NSZ Stefan Celichowski alias „Andrzej” i „Skalski” to training center in Sudeten (where? Wałbrzych /germ. Waldenburg/). After traning Polish volunteers were parachuted in three patrols, which planned contact to NSZ underground. (Germans demanded develop sabotage at the rear Red Army). First patrol (comm. leutnant NSZ Bogusław Denkiewicz alias „Bogusław” and leutnant NSZ Jan Ciesielski alias „Rumba”) was jumped on 13/14 Feb. 1945 r. Second patrol (comm. Captain NSZ Zygmunt Rafalski alias „Sulimczyk”) jumped in two parts on the nights 10 i 11 March. Last patrol (comm. leutnant NSZ Jerzy Brody vel Celiński alias „Gnat”) jumped on 15 Apr. 1945 r. („Bohun” wrote about other order of these patrols: „Sulimczyk”, „Rumba” i „Gnat”). Patrols, counted 47 soldiers and comm. Captain Żołkiewskiego alias „Most”, sent by land. But only 15 soldier reached target and there 11 were aressted by UB (communist security service). Numbers od NSZ volunteers in SD service amount between 23-60. NSZ courier were sent to Italy and France.
Mostly of parachutist arrested by UB, but two of them back to Brigade - leutnant alias „Gnat” and corporal Włodzimierz Gincelewicz alias „Longinek” („Bohun” wrote about „Gnat” with 8 soldier). Most important persons in German (SS/SD) - Polish relationship were mysterious Captain (?) Hubert Jura vel Hubert Jung vel Augustyniak vel Kalinowski alias „Tom” alias „Jerzy” (British agent, at first from 1941/42 he was actived in communist PPR, next to end of 1943 in AK, and since start of 1944 in NSZ, in 1944 start collaboration to Gestapo - NSZ deliver him a judgement capital punishment, but in IX/X 1944 he back to national underground as Chief II Dept. /intelligence/ HQ NSZ-ONR) and SD-Hauptsturmführer Paul Fuchs, earlier chief of IV A i IV N of Kommandeur der Sicherheitspolizei und SD (KdS) in Radom. Underground (probably AK) formed a judgment „Tom” for capital punishment at 1943/44. „Tom” run and hide in German hospital. Then again NSZ didn't resign „Tom” - positive verification by superintendent KC NSZ, Captain Andrzej Czajkowski. Soldiers from unit „Sosna-Las” cleared out „Tom” in middle May. Later „Tom” with Fuchs prepare project throwing Polish Anticomunist elements - Saint Cross Brigade NSZ buy the front. Fuchs grouped subordinates in Frontaufklärungstrupp 202 (official laison mission Wehrmacht and Saint Cross Brigade.
And Leutnant-Colonel Władysław Jaxa-Marcinkowski represented NSZ at meeting in Prague at II part of March, where German accumulated representants of Romanian „Iron Guard” i Hungarian „Arrow Cross”. They planned (in the face of possible conflict East-West) created Anti-Communist Ligue.

WHO KNOWS ANY SD DOCS OR ANOTHER INFORMATION, SOURCES or MONOGRAPHIES (ESPECIALLY ABOUT GERMAN SYSTEM OF TRAINING SABOTAGE in LAST PART OF IIWW).Who helped me in this mysterious theme?

I read Antonio J. Munoz - Forgotten Legions: Obscure Combat Formations of the Waffen-SS; Terence O’Reilly - Hitler's Irishmen; Hans Post - One man in his time

Very interesting. Is there any chance to discover some German documents informing about "evacuation" of NSZ Brigade from Gory Swietokrzyskie behind front lines?

Hello

I find information about training foreign volunteers for SS-Jagdverband Ost in special center - KAMPFSCHULE OST.
Where is located this school of sabotage? And/or where placed FUNKSCHULE FÜR SS-Jagdverbände?

Hi Orlov,
why do you say that Poles served in SS-Jagdverband Ost (1945)?

Because it mentions Antonio Munoz. And I associate the facts of Poles form NSZ trained by Germans in the Protectorate of Czech and Moravian and sent by planes to Poland at the rear of the Red Army. These are questions and an attempt to explain this puzzle. It was definitely not Abwehr! NSZ paratroopers was trained by SS / SD after the dissolution of Abwehr.
And we remember about activity of SS-Hauptsturmführer Paul Fuchs, earlier chief of IV A i IV N of Kommandeur der Sicherheitspolizei und SD (KdS) in Radom - laison officer at NSZ Brigade Stab.

From the joint US interrogation of Skorzeny and Radl, 1945:

Commanding Officer: SS-Hstuf. Adrian von Foelkersam
Deputy C.O. SS-Stubaf. Wolfram Heinze-Rogee

According to Skorzeny the approximate strength of SS-Jagdverband
Ost was 800 men composed as follows:
400 Germans 50 Latvians
200 Russians 30 Lithuanians
80 Estonians 50 Poles

Radl estimates the strength of the entire unit as only 250-300 men.

The units stationed in Hohensalza were almost completely destroyed in the Russian attack of 20/21 January 1945. Remnants returning to Friedenthal included approx. 10 Germans. Among them were SS-Stubaf. Dr. Manfred Pechau and SS-Stubaf. Heinze-Rogee, SS-Ustufs. Rinne, Tietjen, zur Mühlen, and Müller, besides 40 Russians, and 20 - 30 men Jagd-Einsatz Baltikum.

The main Funkschule for RSHA VIS agents was at Park Zorgvliet, The Hague/Holland.

Kampfschule for sabotage training were in Neustrelitz, Seehof, Freiburg/Breisgau (later moved to Kloster Tiefenthal), Korneuburg and Wiener Neustadt.

Thanks Steve248!!!
So, with a high probability, the Poles from the Holy-Cross Brigade could be trained in two locations in Ostmark: Korneuburg and Wiener Neustadt.
Are there any books about these schools?
