Volunteer Newssheets & Magazines
Re: Volunteer´s newssheets & magazines
Van de Wiele Jef and the DeVlag played a role from 1942 in the Algemene SS Vlaanderen.
That is wy he got the rank Ustuf., Hpt Stuf., Stubaf. and as end rank O'Stubaf.
'Volk en Staat' is indeed just the VNV party newspaper.

Any information about Flemisch in German service (Waffen SS, OT, NSKK, Kriegsmarine, DRK, ...) during WWII is welcome.

Halmag .Newspaper from the KNK, Kalmyk National Committee :spring 1943 / spring 1945
Halmag Tangachin was the name of an old Kalmyk national organization .
As many other National Committees monitored by the Ostministerium ,it had no real power.
The pic I sent a few days ago is one from the newspaper Khalmg daach
Khalʹmg d̐a̐ach = Хальмг даач = : Der kalmückische Kämpfer issued for the KKK

Thanks again Wim and clement, ,
Here a Dutch "Front en heem", which has another front page without SS runes. Source in the picture. In French "Le Front", but for French or Walloons, not sure. Source: Wehrmacht-awards.com with best regards

Re: Volunteer´s newssheets & magazines
Finally. The official newspaper for Estonian 20th SS Division "Varemeist touseb kattemaks", after heavy soviet air raids in Tallinn on 9th of March 1944 somebody wrote this slogan on a wall "The revenge will rise from the ruins". Details sent by "amateur" on quiz section.
For Latvian frontline soldiers "Daugavas Vanagi". There is a veterans association with same same in Canada, Australia. And they seem to publish a newspaper with a same name. But the example here should be from 1944. Source: ebay.comRe: Volunteer´s newssheets & magazines

Hi,
Antonio J. Muñoz writes in "The east came west" (pages 91-92): "The newspaper Azad Krim ("Free Crimea"), which began publication from 11 January 1942, played a major guiding role in Crimean Tartar nationalist ideology. This newspaper was an agency of the Simferopol Muslim Committee and was published twice a week in the Tartar language..............Azad Krim printed materials about .........,recruitment and service of Tartar volunteers in the German Armed Forces."
Does somebody have an image of this newspaper?
Thanks
Arto
