"divisional adjutant"

Greetings

I am studying an individual who according to a post war CIA interrogation served with the 14 Galician div, in the capacity as "Divisional adjutant".
Now this COULD mean he served as an adjutant in the division or as an adjutant with the divisional staff. I know each regiment and independent unit had a commander and an adjutant, but how many adjutants served with the staff of a 1944 Waffen-SS division?

Hi Mike,

You can find the Divisional Command Staffs and Regimental command staffs for a Type 1944 Infantry Division (not Waffen SS specific) in the KStN Section of Moderator Christoph Awender's wonderful site:

http://www.wwiidaybyday.com/

Hope this helps,
Regards,
Rand
