Spanish volunteers for Italy?

Were there any Spaniards (who were not dual Italian citizens) who offered their services to Fascist Italy during the war, either as volunteer soldiers, civilian auxiliaries, or spies? I've heard a fair bit about Spanish volunteers and espionage on behalf of Germany, but virtually nothing when it comes to Spaniards working for Italy. Maybe it's just because I'm limited to sources in English...
