Trying to locate as much information on this person (my Uncle) whom until recently we had little to no history on. He was never spoken about and there are many gaps re his service: His joining the Nazi party, Serving on Eastern Front. Rise in the SS ranks and the Spy School in The Hague. We have some photos, his Deathe Certificate, image of his headstone(Grave) and a few references in books.

Jan Jacobus Bate Spreij (Sprey)
Born in 22-05-1911, in Alphen aan den Rijn
Died: 15-03-1944: Buried: Ysselstein German War Cemetery in the Netherlands, Section STA-Row 3-grave.
member of the National Socialist Movement in the Netherlands
He served as a reserve 2nd lieutenant in the Dutch army until 1933
Dutch Central Intelligence scored him as the leader of Circuit 2 Duisburg (Brederode) of the National Socialist Association of Dutch in Germany (NSBND).
After being restored, he became the adjutant of Gottlob Berger, the chief of the Reich in Berlin. Berger had an important role in the recruitment of the Waffen SS troops. In the autumn of 1942 the Amt VI of the Reichsicherheitshauptamt decided on the estate Park Sorghvliet in The Hague to set up a spy school Seehof (A-Schule West).
