If someone has informations about the flemish volunteer Jochen (Jacques?) PALGEN ?

here is my bio :
Born on 6 May 1920 at Knokke, in West Flanders.
Member of VNV.
Enlisted in the Flemish Legion.
In 1944 he is in the division Wallonie, and he is send to Bad Tölz, 18 Kriegs-Junkerlehrgang , from november 1944 to april 1945. Gained the rank of StdObJu.

Here is my biography, with some informations added from specialist :
Jacques Joseph Odilon (dit « Jochen ») Palgen1 est né le 6 mai 1920 à Louvain (province du Brabant flamand). Domicilié à Knokke (province de Flande-Occidentale). Membre du VNV (il servit dans la Dieste Militie). Engagé à la Légion flamande le 2 octobre 1942.
Fut versé à la Légion Wallonie à une date non connue, mais sans doute tardivement en 1944. Assigné au SS-Grenadier Ausbildungs und Ersatz Bataillon 36. Il est choisi pour faire partie de la promotion de wallons envoyés suivre le 18e Kriegs-Junkerlehrgang à Bad Tölz, du 1er novembre 1944 au 30 avril 1945, dont il sort Standarten-OberJunker.
Condamné à trois ans de prison le 17 juin 1947.
1 Apparait comme « Jochen » dans les documents officiels SS. Mais à l’état-civil il se prénomme bien « Jacques » (voire « Jaak »).
Considéré à tort comme un allemand dans la première trilogie de Grégory Bouysse. Ceci dit, il semble avoir été d’origine luxembourgeoise ou allemande.

Some more post-war information:
In 1962, Palgen was studying at al-Hikma University in Baghdad, Iraq.
According to a U.S. government database, Palgen died on 28 May 2001, aged 81.
I corresponded with him briefly before his death. He personally told me his nationality was Luxembourgeois.

So he waw probably of belgian / luxemburg nationality ?
Because Jacques Joseph Odilon is more french sound than germanic. But in Luxembourg, who knows.
Do you know his place of death (in USA i guess?).
