Hello,
I am wondering what party this photo is of?
I am down to 2 guesses from my own research:
1) Belgian Rexist party under Leon Degrelle
or
2) Flemish National Party (Vlaamsch Nationaal Verbond)
Both had a similar lion symbol. Though, I cannot seem to find anymore information about this specific photo. The flags on the top left are hard to make out, though we clearly see the Reichsadler on under the podium/stage.
Thank you for any help.
What party is this and which rally was it?

Re: What party is this and which rally was it?
Hello,
I rather would think a flemish DeVlag/Algemeen SS Vlaanderen meeting.
I have i think a photo of an other manifestation with the same flemish Lion. The Walloon didn't have a Lion but the Burgondy cross.
Greetings
Wim

Any information about Flemisch in German service (Waffen SS, OT, NSKK, Kriegsmarine, DRK, ...) during WWII is welcome.

As an aside, I think the man in the bottom foto taking the salute is then-SS-Brigadeführer Richard Jungclaus, and in the one above it as well.

These pictures were shot in Antwerp on 18 April 1943 during a ceremony for departing SS-volunteers. The event was organised by the DeVlag.
