Depuis la parution, en 2018, de la première trilogie « Encyclopédie de l’Ordre Nouveau - Wallonie », l'auteur a mis à jour régulièrement ses fiches biographiques. L’ajout constant de nouvelles informations, la découverte de nouvelles sources de recherches (dont l’état-civil belge en ligne et la presse belge en ligne), la correction d’un certain nombre d’erreurs, et l’aide précieuse apportée par des amateurs éclairés, ont rendu presque obligatoire une nouvelle édition, qui se veut la plus complète possible. Et qui comportera 3 ou 4 volumes (pour un total estimé de 1200 pages)
Au total, l’auteur a recensé :
-188 officiers (grade d’Ustuf. avéré et au dessus) de la Légion / Sturmbrigade / Division Wallonie.
-2 officiers du S.D. (parmi eux, 1 fut sous-officier à la Légion).
-30 aspirants (Std.ObJu. & Std.Ju. Parmi eux la possibilité que certains furent finalement promus Ustuf. est possible, mais non prouvée).
-23 potentiels officiers (la plupart sont des Oberscharführer candidats officiers, ayant potentiellement effectué le stage de remise à niveau à Sophienwalde de octobre à décembre 1944, mais dont on n’a aucune trace tangible d’une promotion effective comme Ustuf.).
-17 officiers de la Garde Wallonne non passés par la Légion Wallonie (à l’exception de 3, mais comme non officiers).
-13 officiers de la NSKK non passés par la Légion Wallonie (à l’exception de 3, mais comme non officiers, et 1 passé aussi par la Garde Wallonne comme officier – compté parmi les 17 de la Garde Wallonne).
-36 officiers du SVTW / STW (qui furent dans une large majorité sous-officiers ou soldats dans la Légion Wallonie).
-3 officiers de carrière belges ayant failli rejoindre la Sturmbrigade Wallonie, mais s’étant désistés au dernier moment.
Ce qui donne un total de 308 officiers (+ 3 s’étant désistés) dans les formations militaires et paramilitaires belges francophones de la Collaboration. Cela représente une somme de textes et documents conséquente, d’où la nécessité de plusieurs volumes (pour aussi alléger les coûts d’impression, et ne pas produire des livres au tarif trop élevé par volume). De nombreux organigrammes, listes, documents, extraits de journaux et archives d’époque seront également inclus.
Dans ce premier volume sont inclus les officiers, aspirants et potentiels officiers de la Légion / Sturmbrigade / Division Wallonie, dont le patronyme commence par les lettres A à K. Ce présent ouvrage comporte donc 121 biographies (99 officiers, 11 aspirants, 11 potentiels officiers).
