Aces from the Blue Division

#1

Post by Douglas Jr. » 05 Apr 2004, 21:07

Hi folks,

I read that when the Spanish Blue Divison was formed in July 1941, there were volunteers enough to create a whole Staffel of fighter pilots.

Those pilots were attached to the Jagdgeschwader 51 "Mölders", forming the 15th Staffel, achieving a total of 156 confirmed victories during the war.

I was wondering if someone has the names of the main Spanish pilots who become "aces" (five victories or more) and their respective scores.

Many thanks in advance.

Douglas.

Hi there

I've compiled the above stuff from a french magazine "Aero Journal", they published a short history of all "Blaue Staffel" from the inception till the end. If you need more info don't be shy, ask.

Cheers
