Abwehr II/c Brussels & Abwehr III/f Atwerp Quest

Post by Abw II/c -Abw III/f Quest » 10 Apr 2004 22:32

Hello All,

I am involved in research about evasion lines of WWII in Belgium involved with allied airmen and more currently working of a study of false escape lines established by the German military security services.

I would wecome hearing from anyone who might have information related to members of Abwehr in Belgium in general ... but particularly with members of the Abwehr II/c of Brussels and the Abw III/f of Antwerp during the period early 1943- September, 1944.

I have a good working list of names and or alias, some photos, and varying amount of archival information on a number of individuals about whom I would like to know more if anyone can help.

On another level, I have found several instances where 'German agents' attempting infiltration were detected by the security measures of the resistance and executed. If possible I would like to identify these individuals.

Thanks for any contacts.
Michael

Hello,
The best source of information is the CEGES in Brussels.
http://www.cegesoma.be/
By the way, have you ever heard of a Proper De Zitter, alias Jackson ? (so-called and would-be Canadian), an Abwehr agent, who infiltrated Allied (pilot) escape lines ?
Yours,

The Abwher were using turned agents to send messages to london for supplys etc for bribes such as decent bolts of cloth , he recolets that all abwher officers had new suits as a result . They were dropped by lysanders straight into their hands . They used it as a mail order service . From his recollections
