Interested in detail of refugee escapes from unoccupied France to Spain over the Pyrenees during 1942-1943, especially from Marseilles. Already aware of book "A Hero Among Us", but would like to learn more. I was one of them.

Can you give the author, publisher stats on the book "A Hero Among Us"?
I knew someone who fled from Vichy France to Spain during that time period.

The book "A Hero Of Our Own" was authored by Sheila Isenberg, and was printed in 2001 by Random House. I obtained my copy on Amazon.com at their usual good discount. The Amazon order site also provides a brief discussion of the book, together with several reviews from readers. I found it quite good.
