1940 - 1942 volksdeutsche must be volunteer to serve in WH
from 1942 reichsdeutsche were enlisted

Hi all -

Jacques PALGEN might have been from Luxembourg. He attended Junkerschule Bad Toelz and served in the 38. SS-Grenadier Div. "Nibelungen" at the end of the war. He later emigrated to the United States and died in Arizona some years ago.

A unit of Allgemeine-SS was created in luxemburg in 40's

"Korrespondenz SSFHA, SS-Oberabschnitt Rhein, August-Oktober 1941: Aufstellung eines SS-Sturmbannes in Luxemburg und dessen vorläufige Unterstellung unter die 5.SS-Standarte in Trier"
