Re: Some SS "Handschar" photo-infos
(You're welcome.) It's a nice photo, but I can't say much about it at the moment. Both units (13th SS & 1st Cossack divisions) operated in the territory of the NDH, but I don't know on what occasion did the pictured guys meet.
Cheers,
Ivan

Do you know anything about the photo with the Cossacks? (It’s on page 11)

Re: Some SS "Handschar" photo-infos
Dear George, I'm sorry, but it's not Muhasilović. I don't think he was even present during the Mufti's visit, I believe his deputy Đozo was the main imam at the moment, since it's him who sat next to the Mufti at the table during lunch (also, Muhasilović does not appear in any photo or video).
This highly-decorated Stubaf. was already mentioned on page 9 of this thread viewtopic.php?f=51&t=77027&start=120#p2051688
As can be seen in clearer images, he had a more sophisticated face than Muhasilović, who looked like a real crook.
He might be Stubaf. Božidar Dobrinić (1st battalion, artillery regiment), but I don't have any confirmed photos of him for a comparison (the Stubaf. was indeed filmed and photographed during the inspection of the artillery regiment; however, so were some other officers from different divisional units). The man seen walking behind him (on the far left) is Džemal Ibrahimović, imam of the anti-aircraft battalion, which was commanded by Ostubaf. Husein Biščević (if Biščević was already an Ostubaf. at the time, then the Stubaf. is obviously not him; I don't have any confirmed photos of him either).
Cheers,
Ivan

Isn't this Đozo?
I heard some soldiers were calling him Brka Husein Hodža.

Re: Some SS "Handschar" photo-infos
It's Đozo. However, I seriously doubt anyone called him that, since he didn't wear moustache (brka = moustached guy) and, overall, it sounds like a nonsense nickname, completely atypical.
Please be more careful when posting hearsays (= don't post it). People would be spreading it if they like it, no matter whether it's true or not.
Cheers,
Ivan
