What nonsense.
Everyone from Himmler down subscribed to the Croatian notion on the true ethnicity of the Bosnians. It wasnt until May 1944 that Handschar lost its SS-Frw title as 2nd class or a Germanic unit. Himmler himself made it clear that should this come into question that the person guilty of joking or speaking ill of the Bosnians at their expense should be harshly reprimanded.

Hi Mujo -

Arto was not being insincere. He was just poking fun at NS racial sentiments.

Good to have you back on te board.

Does anyone knows the IDs of some of Handschar officers around Mufti? And maybe the exact date ... November 1943?

Hi,
Here some. Curious they seems to wear a red fez, which should be only walk out dress. Or is it a light effect.

I'm divided on this one. It was labeled as 13. SS but the uniforms look closer to 7th to me.
The give-away might be the lack of a nation sleeve patch. Another possibility is that theyre German members from a signals unit with their own cufftitles.
