Hmm imam and hafiz Hajrović Mehmed?
Good thinking - but no. In the July 1943 group photo (Potsdam), Hajrović wears a Stubaf. (or Ostubaf.?) rank.
The imam pictured in "our" photos, which were taken later (Oct. 1943, Neuhammer), wears a lower rank - Hstuf. or Ostuf., can't see it clearly.

Cheers,
Ivan

Hello, Ivan and Huska

It could be Imam Hasan Bajraktarević who had the rank "Hauptsturmführer".

Hello, BG44

Well I thought of him too, but this person (or persons) in Neuhammer and Brčko photos seems to have had chubbier cheeks than Bajraktarević. Maybe it's simply an imam (or imams) that we don't have a photo of. What is certain is that all these photos are rather hard to work with. There's no clear shot of any of the faces.

Cheers,
Ivan

Guys, remember this civilian that was seen On the group photo with grossmufti and on the german newsreel in Neuhammer? The name of this man is Omer Zuhrić who worked as a teacher and was a member of the VI Department of the 13 ss division says Fuad Mujakic
On the Ljubuški site they say he served as an Imam in the Handžar Divizion. The left pic is from his early days.

I don't see a resemblance between the two. Why would you think it's the same person?

That is prpbably the same person,The left picture is from his early days,he was born in 1903 by the way.
And he is one of the people who were working in the Handžar magazine. Before the war he worked in Novi Behar.
Maybe There is a Better quality picture of him

Huska, you can't act like that. You can't just label names like that because someone is "probably" someone, that is, because you wish to quickly identify someone. There's no resemblance between the faces in those two photos, no matter when the photos were taken.

Please don't do that anymore. It's toying with history and disrespectful to the forum and its community.

Good. Sorry about the harsh tone. Next time just post the photos and ask others for their opinions. But don't write anything on the files! As I wrote before, people are spreading everything around, misinformation too. If I'd post a photo of my grandmother here I bet you there would be more than one person who'd copy it elsewhere as a "Handschar photo" (needless to say, my granny was not a member of the division).

Cheers,
Ivan

Guys who is Dr.Akram Here?

The source of this photograph is Bubdesarhiv as we can see in the bottom
It is worth noting that Omer Zuhrić is present in this photograph according to the book of Zvonimir Bernwald, but it is not known by whom among the people of the second and third row he is. Bernwald himself in his book in the caption to the photo wrote: "Außerdem sind in der zweiten und dritten Reihe folgende Person / Bosniaken zu sehen: <...> Omer Zuhrić, Lehrer; war zeitweise in der Abt. VI. Tätig. Ich traf ihn im Sommer 1945 im PW-Lager in Regensburg wieder. Zuhric blieb nach dem Krieg in Deutschland and starb in den 1990er Jahren in Nürnberg."

Yes i know Frolov, and I think that Omer is the guy in coat because ,just look at those other soldiers standing, none of them look like teachers but ordinary soldiers.
And doesn't that picture, when I look closer to, look like Omer from the early days or are my eyes just playing tricks on me? :) This requirs deep investigation!

According to the Ljubušaci site, Zuhrić was a member of the division; therefore, if he is indeed in the photo, he should be one of the men in uniform. But I don't know whether that's a fact, or if the author misunderstood his source. Also, as I wrote, Bernwald already misidentified one of the pictured officers as Berger's adjutant Blessau, so it's always possible that he misidentified more people.

Ivan

Yes, he said he was occasionally active in the divisional political section, that is, Abt. VI (which was in charge of the magazine). But he wasn't clear on whether he was a civilian who occasionally wrote something for them, or a divisional member. So, none of the info is much helpful. I could never understand this type of "identification", when someone writes "this and that guy are also pictured" without specifying their position in the image. It's worthless info.

Cheers,
Ivan
