#1

Post by Rocket » 15 Oct 2005, 04:41

Hi All,

I am looking for a picture of an old SS recruitment poster from Croatia. I used to have a copy of it but have lost it due to a hard-drive crash a couple years ago. Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Hello Ivan,

Please forgive my ignorance here, but who is John T. and the organisation he represents?

Also, that last poster you have inserted. What does the text say? I presume something to do with the Handschar? As evidenced by the mosque and fez on the depicted SS trooper, as well as the words"Herceg-Bosne"?

John T. is a member of WHA Forum, that's all I know.

Yes, it is rec.poster for "Handschar" Division.

Text says:

Croats of Herzeg-Bosnia!
Report to Croatian volunteer mountain SS division
and German police station in Croatia,
where are already thousands of your brothers.
Protect your homes!
Or you wish to continue watching
your proud Bosnia in flame?!
Report immediately to the nearest SS station,
or German police station in Croatia.

Cheers,
Ivan
