Brandenburgers in France 1940

Gentlemen,

Is there anything at all about the Brandenburger commandos' role in taking targets in France in 1940? The book "The Brandenburgers-Global Missions" by Franz Kurowski,is too limited in scope about the actions of the Brandenburgers in France. All it said in the book was capturing secret documents and files in many areas of France including Paris. France had plenty of installations to take by the Brandenburgers.

Sincerely,

Edward L. Hsiao

My memory may be wrong, but I recall most were expended in the opening 48 hours of the campaign. Mostly securing bridges and road junctions. Since they did not suffer severe casualties they must have been reorganized & used again in june, but I cant recall anything from then.

Gentlemen,

The Brandenburgers had captured the Pechelbronn oil wells in Alsace and prevented the French combat engineers from blowing them up by capturing them also. From page 51 from the book "The Brandenburgers-Global Missions".
