Any Speculation as to the fate of the Cymric?

Were there any storms between Dublin and Lisbon at the time of her last voyegue?

Its been looked into many times and nothing has ever been found in any of the archival material from RAF Coastal Command or from German U-boat diaries. In all probability it succumbed to bad weather on the crossing of the Bay of Biscay.
