The crimes of Emmett Till 's father

#1

Hi,

i am looking for infos about the crimes committed by Louis Till, father of Emmett Till (, the hero of the civil rights' movement https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emmett_Till).

Wikipedia talks about it a bit :
While serving in the Italian Campaign, Till was arrested by military police, who suspected him and another soldier, Fred A. McMurray, of the murder of an Italian woman and the rape of two others, in Civitavecchia.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_Till

There in AHF "LineDoggie" talked about
"Emmett Tills father, Pvt. Louis Till was Executed for Rape and Murder in Civitavecchia Italy in 1945.

Raped 2 Pregnant women, Stabbed another over a dozen times, Robbed and broke the arms of a US Navy Sailor in the town that night"

My quesiton would be : is there any informations about TIll's achievements as a soldier ? Did he ever take part in combat ? Where ? When ? Did we have any infos ine the US Army archives ? How long was he active before his imprisonment ? Should we suppose that he committed other crimes ?
Who was his accomplice Fred Mc Murray ?

Thank you

Very interesting. The author has very interesting sources, unfortunately he seems to be biased.
