There were 2 units of French nurses in the Division.
The Rochambelles (named from Jean-Baptiste-Donatien de Vimeur de Rochambeau of American War of Independence fame) and the Marinettes because they originated from the French Navy ("Marine") and related to the RBFM (Régiment blindé de fusiliers-marins) itself of Naval origin.
