I just heard about her in a newscast about her this a.m.

You've got to wonder of how a woman with a limp, prosthetic lower leg, was able to elude the Gestapo once they knew of her disability. Despite the prosthetic leg, she crossed into Spain by walking in snow for some 50 miles over three days across the Pyrenees. I'm foot-sore and tired after just a ten mile jaunt.

Good morning Gorque,

I can guess that much of her story had been "modified" prior to public release.

The Brit's SOE had a premier network. Names, methods, techniques and related still must be kept hidden from public view.
