WW2 Omaha Beach Memorial Question

Post by Haarp22 » 24 Oct 2019 11:07

I visited Omaha beach not long ago, I wanted to walk up the side of the escarpment to get a view for what the German soldiers would've seen and along this back road there was a monument. The metal had been removed but the large concrete stand was still there, overgrown. Does anyone know any history related to this memorial if that's what it is?
