741st Tank Battalion - Description Of Hedgerow Tactics - Normandy 1944

The attached report by the 741st Tank Battalion discusses their tactics and methods to overcome the hedgerows during the July and early August battles. These methods include use of the Rino hedgerow cutter and the use of combined arm (infantry & artillery) tactics.

The text obscured by the ‘Unclassified’ stamp can be read by enlarging the attachment.

The report is from the US Army Combat Notes report series for the 1944 European Campaign.

Great stuff. Are the the references to Assult Guns on p1 to 105mm armed Shermans?
