The attached article discusses the attack the US 7th Army and its attached units made across the Moselle River and up to the Vosges Mountains in the Fall months of 1944. The article lists the difficulties the 7th Army faced and how these problems were exacerbated by poor weather conditions.

The article was printed in the September 1945 edition of the USA professional military reference magazine ‘Military Review’.
