D Day 2023

Post by yantaylor » 06 Jun 2023 20:46

Hi, as today is the anniversary of D Day, I wondered if it could be possible to track down what vessel my father would have sailed before he landed on Juno Breach. His unit was either the 372nd or 375th Battery, 114th Light Antiaircraft Regiment RA.
He was the gun Sergeant on a Crusader AA Mark I 40mm and landed on Nan Sector.
I would have guessed that his tank would have been landed by a LCT, is there a way I could trace which LCT this was?
Any help would be great.
Thank you.
Ian
