The battle infront Koln Cathedral

I know there was a battle infront of the cathedral between a pershing, panther, and sherman

Can anyone post pics and if possible the video of the battlE?

Its actually pretty gruesome footage...The Panther gets hit and most of its crew bails out but the comander is just leaving his cupola when another shell hits home and sets the tank ablaze with the comander still half way out..and he stays there. :cry:

Here's another oic from that scene.It's from Time-Life book Across The Rhine.
Caption says:In a street near the Cologne Cathedral,an American is blown out of his tank by a German shell.Nearby,one GI races to help the tanker while another runs for a medic.The tanker lost a leg in the blast,but survived.

Here another nice link...there seems really to be a controversy wether those three escaping crew members died or were later captured wounded nearby.

I saw that site....but the thing was, the panzer commander was climbing out along with the rest of the crew, but the pershing then fired another shot..
